The entire production of The Exorcist was said to be cursed, as strange and unfortunate events were occurring during the making of the film. For instance, the whole set burned down in one night, crew members and castmates were injured or killed during production, and eventually, the crew arranged for the set to be cleaned out.

It’s uncertain if the priests from the original film will return in the new series or not, but the original actors who portrayed them are now deceased, so they’re unlikely to return to the storyline. We’ll have to wait and see if this infamous bean soup returns in any form.
