Evil Dead Rises is an upcoming American supernatural horror film written and directed by Lee Cronin. After a night of partying, college students Ash, Dee, and Mia find themselves trapped in a cabin full of evil spirits. There are two sisters trying to survive and save their family from evil Deadites in this horror film.
The horror film’s development was preceded by scrapped plans for a sequel to the 2013 film Evil Dead and a fourth film in the original series. It was revealed that Robert G. and Sam Raimi were going to develop another sequel in the Evil Dead franchise.
The movie has been directed by Kevin Smith, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tom Malloy and Michael Golamco. It was produced by Joel Silver.
