Another DC film awaits to be released for fans all over the world; Black Adam: The Power Show. It is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC character of the same name. The production is backed up by New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo., and set for distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures. The DC Extended Universe has been a major player in Hollywood for years and this year’s edition of Black Adam: The Power Show will not disappoint the fans awaiting it to be released.
CAST:
The absolute power shock of a film’s new releasing date is 29th October 2022. This being the 11th movie to be released by DC Extended Universe (DCEU), it is star-studded and set to Shazam its magic, just like the wizard, throughout all the world’s cinemas. Nonetheless, fans have been all over the place when the cast was set, the Movie stars; Dwayne Johnson as Teth-Adam / Black Adam the superhero who was imprisoned 5000 years ago sharing the same powers as the wizard with the same name.
Alongside, Aldis Hodge as the Hawkman known as the archaeologist who is the reincarnation of an Egyptian prince and has the power of flight from his Nth metal wings and was also known for being the leader of the Justice Society of America (JSA).
Noah Centineo is starred as Atom Smasher/ Albert “Al” Rothstein known for his role as a member of the JSA who can control his molecular structure and manipulate his size and strength.
The known Sarah Shahi is a university professor and resistance fighter in Kahndaq known by her name Adriana Tomaz.
The famous Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate will be shown as the son of an archeologist who learned sorcery and was given the magical Helmet of Fate and also a member of the JSA. PS: Guess who had to wear a motion suit for his role? Yes! Brosnan it is.

Following this Bodhi Sabongui will be seen playing the role of Amon. Apart from the main characters a lot of appearances shall be seen in the upcoming movie which are of the criminal organization Intergang and James Cusati-Moyer, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu have been cast in roles which are still to be disclosed for the audience to know.
PLOT:
The movie summarizes a storyline that started 5000 years ago of Teth Adam who was living as a slave under the realm with a culture of prosperity enriched with wealth and magic. The main character; Teth-Adam gains the powers of Shazam the wizard and uses them against his masters.
Shazam interferes, locking Adam away until the present day which makes it about 5000 years. Black Adams’s main aim is to “destroy bullies” with the help of the Justice Society of America, they decide to include Hawkman and Doctor Fate, who Adam seems to be familiar with, as well as the newcomer’s Cyclone and Atom Smasher. Adam describes this society of Justice as an organization that believes in truth and justice and fights for what is right and then proceeds to fly into the air, promising to teach them that the only beliefs for which he fights are its own.
TEASER:
When the teaser broke out, it also entailed a lot more detail about the character; Black Adam. A character with amazing abilities; an absolute force and power of nature with a strength that is world-breaking, nature, and attitude defined by the rules and principles which he believes to be true for which he can kill too. The trailer starts with the landing of Adam in a cave enclosed in a pod and also glimpses of the past in which he rose to power 5000 years ago.
The audience then sees him being surrounded by a group of soldiers to inspect what just landed but he wiped them off their feet in mere seconds. In the next scene, we see another jet carrying what can only be presumed to be other members of the Justice Society, introducing Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman and Noah Centineo’s Atom to the mainstream media in a city-wide battle to confront Adam Black. The heated conversation between Adam and the Hawkman displays that Adam will be ready to kill for what he believes to be true and necessary to achieve his aim. The trailer reveals Adam as a ruthless, invulnerable, and extremely powerful character ready to fight wherever necessary.
PRODUCTION DELAY:
The Black Adam was to be released a year earlier than the date disclosed. Johnson the head of the production stated back in mid-April 2020 that filming had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were now planning to begin production in August or September of that year. But by July it was further delayed due and the filming was set to begin in early 2021. The casting of characters perfectly took quite some time and due to the delays occurring because of the pandemic Warner Bros adjusted their upcoming release schedule due to the pandemic, leaving Black Adam without a release date for the audience to maneuver over the wait more and more.
The film was then expected to start shooting in mid-April 2021 after the construction was completed for the sets. The final straw that delayed the production was that of having Pierce Bronson Play the role of Doctor Fate, this happened a month later in March 2021, after which finally the actual release date for the movie was confirmed being 29th October 2022.
Buckle up fans! The wait is about to be over, the hype to be confirmed, October is merely a few months away, and the wait alas shall be over for us to watch BLACK ADAM: THE POWERHOUSE soon enough. The audience waits to be won over once again by Dwayne Jhonson in such a powerful role and Shazam them all with his powers!
