The motion picture Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on February 17, 2023. The movie was initially scheduled to come out in 2022, but in May 2021, it was formally confirmed that it will come out on February 17, 2023. In October 2021, it was moved to July 28, 2023, and in April 2022, it was moved back to February 20, 2023. Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be a part of the fourth MCU phase.

• Michael Douglas will bestow as Hank Pym in the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the inventor of the Ant-Man suit and a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, entomologist, and physicist.
• Kathryn Newton will bestow as Cassie Lang, Scott Lang’s daughter. Emma Fuhrmann, who portrayed the role in Avengers: Endgame, is replaced by Newton (2019). Jonathan Majors portrays Kang the Conqueror.
• Evangeline Lilly will be bestowed as Hope van Dyne/Wasp: The Wasp mantle and a comparable costume are passed down to Hope from her mother, Janet van Dyne, who is the daughter of Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne.
• Michelle Pfeiffer will bestow as Janet van Dyne in the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the original Wasp who spent 30 years trapped in the Quantum Realm, Pym’s wife, Hope’s mother, and the Wasp. 
• Jonathan Majors will bestow as Kang the Conqueror, a “time-traveling, multiversal foe” who appears in Loki’s first season as an alternate timeline version of He Who Remains, the one behind the Time Variance Authority (TVA) (2021). Kang was referred to as the “next great cross-movie villain” for the MCU by Loki head writer Michael Waldron.  Majors claimed that Kang differs from He Who Remains, which is not present in Quantumania, in that he has a changed mentality, is portrayed in a different way than He Who Remains because of the many individuals who surround him, and has gone from a television series to a motion picture.
• Bill Murray has also been hired for an unnamed villain part in the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Following the event of the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Hope van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), and her parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) continue their study of the Quantum Realm after the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Endgame. This leads them into conflict with Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), a variation of He.

The filming events of the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania:

Turkey’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Ersoy, declared on February 4, 2021, that filming on the project has started in Cappadocia, with further locations to be determined.

Marvel Studios declared that the movie will be released on February 17, 2023, or early May 2021. Rudd and Douglas traveled to England in the middle of June to get ready for the shoot of the Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantamonia. On June 19 and 20, filming for exterior shots and backdrop plates was done at the San Francisco Police Department Central Station in North Beach, San Francisco. The station’s interior, the building’s exterior, and downtown San Francisco were all filmed. 

In July, Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair stated that Corey Stoll will return to Quantumania in “some shape” as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket from Ant-Man. With the working title Dust Bunny, principal photography commenced on July 26, 2021, at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, principal photography was scheduled to start in January 2021 but was delayed.

 Murray said that he was portraying an “evil person” in the movie. The main filming wrapped sometime in November 2021.  Atlanta was also scheduled to serve as the location for filming, and the cast was expected to transfer the production to San Francisco in 2022.
